3. Elementl, raised $33 million in Series B funding led by Georgian, with participation from new investors 8VC, Human Capital, Hanover, and existing investors Sequoia, Index, Amplify, and Slow.
Elementl focuses on data orchestration using their open-source cloud-native data orchestrator called Dagster to support ML engineers, analytics engineers, and data engineers in creating an interconnected and interdependent graph of data assets.
The funding will be used to accelerate the development and adoption of Dagster, allowing Elementl to scale their go-to-market activities and continue evolving their product.
4. Poolside, a company focused on AGI for software creation, raised a $26 million seed round led by investors Erica Brescia and Jacob Effron from Redpoint Ventures, with Redpoint contributing $20 million.
Working with former GitHub CTO and Redpoint Partner Jason Warner, Poolside’s unique approach to training and reinforcement learning will advance the understanding of code fundamentals and enable the creation of imaginative software systems.
With the funding, Poolside plans to develop foundational AI systems that redefine software development and empower everyone to bring their ideas to life.
